Robotics, coding & AI for kids in Baku: which course to choose
IT Innovations Academy is a Baku IT education center founded in 2019 (Narimanov, near Ganjlik metro). It offers a single, depth-first learning path for children and teens ages 7–17 (and adults): robotics → programming → artificial intelligence → drones / maker / space. This guide answers the question parents ask most, in plain language: which track fits a child by age.
Our position: a depth-first learning path
We do not promise "a little of everything". Our track is sequential: robotics builds hands-on machine fluency, programming builds computational thinking, then specialization follows in AI, drones, maker and space.
This treats real engineering skill as a multi-year path, not a single course. The programming track is a multi-year structure for ages 10–14; AI and robotics tracks run up to 10 months.
Results are grounded in real DB data. We have participated in WRO, Infomatrix and Teknofest (2021–2025); specific dated placements are published on the Achievements page as real data becomes available.
A guide by age
The age bands below are based on the real age ranges in our catalog. Exact ages are shown on each course page.
5–8
First steps
At this age computer literacy and game-based robotics fundamentals fit best. Computer Essentials (7–13) and Robotics (7–14) begin at an introductory level.
9–12
Solid foundation
Software Engineering with AI (10–14) and Robotics are the core tracks here; AI Engineering and the Maker Lab open from age 12.
13–17
Specialization
Teens can move to the three-year AI Engineering program (12–17), AI Robotics (13–17), Smart Drones & Autonomous Systems (13–17), and other advanced tracks.
Who teaches
Classes are led by a lead instructor and specialized teaching teams. The names below are those listed in the catalog.
